HAPPY HAPPIER HAPPIEST
The ultimate aim of everyone in life is to be happy whether it is through material possessions or through spiritual processes. We all run around throughout our lives in order to chase happiness. We often compare happiness with our ego, if our ego gets satisfied we feel happy for the moment but it is not considered as true happiness.
Buddha Said "There is no path to happiness, Happiness is the path".
It is our willingness to be happy is a source of all happiness. It is therefore much more important for us to be happy than for our ego to be right.
Five ways for a journey from Happy to Happiest
1. Mediation : Try to include mediation as part of our everyday routine whether it is for 10 -15 mins a day, best time to practice it is as soon as you wake up or before you sleep.
Buddha said " If you are quiet enough, you will hear the flow of the universe. You will feel its rhythm. Go with this flow. Happiness lies ahead. Meditation is the key".
2. Live in the present : Hold fast to what matters in the present, try to bring your attention to the present - here and now.
Buddha Said " The secret to both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, worry about the future or anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly".
3. Love & Compassion : It is the only thing in the world that has a ability to create wonders.
Buddha Said " This is unalterable law, you can search throughout entire universe for someone who is more deserving of your love and affection than you are yourself, and that person is not to be found anywhere. You yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe deserve your love and affection".
4. Forgiveness & Letting go : Forgiveness is the attitude of the strong, It has a healing power and let you start a new chapter.
Buddha Said " Rise above your anger through forgiveness and compassion for yourself and others. Hatred does not cease through hatred at any time. Hatred ceases through love".
5. Helping Others : We all are a part of the same planet and it is our duty to contribute to make it more beautiful.
Buddha said " If you light a lamp for somebody, it will also brighten your path".
" Happiness comes when your work and words are of benefit to yourself and others".
