WHAT IS THE ETERNAL RULE OF LIFE?

ETERNAL RULE OF LIFE

Today I am here to talk about Buddha's eternal rule of life from Dhammapada. I am sure if one understands it on a deeper level it will change the way you see life. In one of the discourse, Osho explains one of the sutra from Dhammapada He says "Night is very long for the one who is awake, the journey is too long for a tired person in a similar way the one who is unaware of the "Truth" the world is very big.

According to Albert Einstein in 1905, the theory of relativity is the notion that the laws of physics are the same everywhere. The theory explains the behavior of objects in space and time. The same time can be long for one person and short for another, for example when you were unwell and unable to sleep the night seems to be very long for you and on the other hand, if you are well that night seems normal to you. In this same way if you are spending with your beloved the time seems to be short while in a similar way if you are sitting with the person you don't like that same ti,e seems too long for you. He wants to explain that time and space are the same, it is our vision and the way we look at things that really matter.
Whatever we are observing around us depends entirely on us. In fact, you are the creator of your world. saying this Buddha wants to say, not to blame the world it is you who is the creator.

What is the ultimate Truth? What is Dharma? according to Buddha Dharma means the eternal rule of life. The rule that is working on a deeper level. Our lives are governed by this law. Whenever we go against it we receive its consequences and whenever we work according to this law it works for us. It can be explained by taking the example of the Law of gravitation, it works every time and for everyone. The one who is drunk finds it difficult to walk on the road and falls down he has no reason to blame law of gravitation for it.

  • Everything inside you is relative to consciousness.
  • Everything depends on consciousness.
  • Everything is a game of How you see things. Everything is your visual game.
  • The ultimate truth is Consciousness. Everything reloves around it.

Let's contemplate:

“Mind is a forerunner of all actions.

All deeds are led by mind, created by mind.
If one speaks or acts with corrupt mind,
suffering follows,
As the wheel follows the hoof of an ox pulling a cart.
Mind is the forerunner of all actions.
All deeds are led by mind, created by mind.
If one speaks or acts with a serene mind,
happiness follows,
As surely as one's shadow.
'He abused me, he mistreated me, defeated me, robbed me.'
Harboring such thoughts keeps hatred alive.
'He abused me, he mistreated me, defeated me, robbed me.'
Releasing such thoughts banishes hatred for all time.
Animosity does not eradicate animosity.
Only by loving-kindness is animosity dissolved.
This law is ancient and eternal.”
― Dhammapada
