Founded in 1950, Worldskills is the global hub for skills excellence and development. World skills bring youth, industries, and educators together to give youth the chance to compete, experience, and to learn how to become the best in their skill of choice. Worldskills vision is to improve the world through the power of skills. It has 75 member countries and regions. WorldSkills organizes the world championships of vocational skills and is held every two years in different parts of the world.
  • The City of Kazan, Russia hosted the 45th Worldskills Competition in 2019.
  • The City of Shanghai, China will host the 46th Worldskills Competition in 2021.
  • Three countries are reported to be preparing bids to host WorldSkills 2023, Japan, France, and Switzerland.

WORLDSKILLS INDIA is an initiative of the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. 
OBJECTIVES:

1. To motivate the youth to pursue vocational training.2. Establish a longterm association with Worldskills International.

INDIASKILLS
Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) & National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) launched India’s first National Skills Competition- IndiaSkills, a biennial competition.


OBJECTIVES:

1. To help youth attain world-class standards of competence.
2. To create nationwide awareness across various skills.

The registration for Worldskills competition for 2021 is closed now but you can keep ready for 2023.
